Howdy and Welcome, The yellow poppies are in bloom again, this event only takes place every few years, it adds a splash of color to these old Grey hills. It's this infrequent explosion of golden cover that gives the mountain range it's name "Las Floridas". I took this picture on the trail into Wind Mill Canyon, just as the poppies were starting to pop.
